About Me
My tryst with Jyotiṣa began at the mere age of 14. An aunt of mine - a practicing Jyotiṣī - was giving my mother a consultation about her health matters. My initial thought was to shun the words of my Māsī, but with multiple visits that followed, I realised that there was a science to these predictions - it wasn't just made up. With this thought, a new curiosity began brewing within me to find out more for myself. I became more inquisitive when my Māsī would do readings, and even started to share with her what I was learning over the internet. This was the start of my Jyotiṣa journey. Today, I am a part of the PJC (Parāśara Jyotiṣa) course taught in the parampara, and it could be thought of almost like a Bachelor degree in Jyotiṣa. My aspiration (and Pt. Sanjay Rath's Upadeśa) is to begin practicing using various charts, which is the intent of having set this site up. My Ātmakāraka is Śani and I truly feel that my life's purpose is to serve other beings. My future goals are to complete more courses offered by Devaguru Bṛhaspati Center and spend more time in the soul-touching world of Jyotiṣa, using the little that I have gathered to help others in every avenue of life I possibly can.
